Is it really free?

Yes. Every account gets a free server. The size and number of servers you can have are shown on your dashboard.

Which versions can I run?

Any Java Edition release from 1.8 to the newest, on Paper, Purpur, Folia, Fabric, Forge, NeoForge or Vanilla. Change it any time in your server's settings; the world stays.

How do I add plugins or mods?

Open your server, go to Files, open the plugins (or mods) folder and upload the jar. Restart the server and it loads.

Can I make myself an operator?

Yes: put your Minecraft name in Operators in your server's settings, or type op yourname in the console.

Is my world backed up?

Your world lives on the node's disk and stays when you stop, restart or change versions. Download a copy from Files any time.
